The prime minister nominated Pol Gen Pateep Tunprasert, an inspector-general, for the post of next police chief to the Police Comission on Thursday because Pol Gen Pateep was accepted by both the red-shirts and the yellow-shirts, Thepthai Senpong, personal spokesman of Democrat party leader said on Saturday.
